Hubby just discovered that Kristy can be pulled up to standing position from sitting.

Bravo Bravo! What an achievement for a 6 month old gal. :).

Hmm, Kristy is already 6 months plus now. Let this lazy mother try to recall what Kristy had done or achieved during these 6 months. :p

Brought Kristy to see the doctor @ KidsLink @ Choa Chu Kang Central yesterday.

Before meeting the doctor, Kristy had to take her weight and height. She's gaining weight well. She's now weighing 4.2kg and is 1.5cm taller, 54.5cm now

We waited for around 15mins before our turn to meet the doctor. The doctor discovered she has fungus (caused by the mixture of milk and saliva) on her tongue and advised us to always clean her tongue, preferably after each feed.

As for her blocked nose, the doctor said it is perfectly normal for infants to have blocked nose. -_-" So I guess there's no other faster way to remember that big piece of dry "gold" from her nostril.

Kristy was given medicine for the fungus on the tongue, nasal drops and cord spirit to clean her belly button. This visit to the doc cost $80+ -_-" But as long as Kristy is healthy and well, I guess $80+ is ok. :)

Oooo...just a note for this  blur mother to remember. Her umbilical stump fell off last Sunday (10th April 2005) at around 10am during her bath time. :)

Darling Kristy has been having stuffy nose since birth. It seems to have worsen recently.

This morning, my mother realised that there's a big piece of dry dirt stucked inside her right nostril. Hopefully with all the sneezing she's having, the piece of dirt will come out. She hasn't been sleeping well recently due to the stuffy nose. *Heartache*

Yesterday, while we were having dinner, my mother fed Kristy a tiny piece of egg-tofu.

Kristy ate it and gave a "bitter" face. Guess she's not used to the taste. Haha. After she had finished the tiny of tofu, she started to ask for me. "Ahhh-ahhhh", calling for more tofu. Since I am still down with flu, I couldn't feed her. When she saw me eating the tofu and not feeding her, she "Ahhh-ahhh" at me. Hahaha, what a sight.
 

Kristy is 6 months old today! Hurray! ^_^

But poor gal is down with running/stuffy nose and cough. Had brought her to 2 different docs. Hope she will get well soon.

Ooo! And she can sit up quite well nowadays albeit a little of swaying here and there. kekeke

Yesterday was my cousin - Wai Hang's wedding dinner. She is Kristy's 表姨妈.

It was Kristy's first "visit" to a wedding dinner. With so many unknown people and new environment, she had been very curious about every single things. All the relatives were showering their attention towards Kristy.

Taken some photos of her and the photos are now ready in her gallery.

Scolded Kristy just now because she just wouldn't want to drink her milk and kept playing with the milk. Half way through the feed, she started to "blow" out the milk. So I scolded her.

She gave me a look and suddenly she cried out, with tears rolling out. Then I guessed she choked and vomitted out the milk directly in my face. -_-" Does she really know that she was been scolded? She cried till very ke lian. Then I felt so guilty. And was she having her revenge by vomitting in my face? Haha

Kristy has been very cranky nowadays due to teething. Her thumb sucking had evolved into hand sucking. She practically suck every single fingers.

Her milk intake has decreased from 190ml to 150ml. Sometimes she can't even finish 150ml. She will push the milk bottle away and make noises or crying out loud.

Just noticed this evening that Kristy had started to crawl and move a bit. But she's crawling backwards. -_-"

When her buttocks was raised up, the sight is funny. Haha. Will try and see if I can capture any photos on that. :p

I also saw her flip back from her tummy. Good achievement!

Brought Kristy for her 3rd DPT/PT vaccination at CCK Polyclinic today. The nurse today was better than the nurse during the last visit. At least she jabbed Kristy at the area where there is more flesh rather than the previous one who jabbed Kristy near the bones. So Kristy didn't cry at all today. Good girl. :)
