Hmm, so what has she learnt from us? :p I taught her to recognize buttons yesterday and today when I asked her "Button, where?". She was able to show me where the button was. I'm amazed. :p Other stuff she knows: - She will put her index finger to her
nose mouth when we said "Shhh" or "不要吵" in Cantonese. - She knows how to do the "niu niu xiao" gesture.
- She will show me her teeth when I asked her to show it to me or anyone else.
- She will help us to do some task when we asked her to like asking her to fetch something for us or asking her to throw rubbish or pick up any dust she found and give it to us.
- Nowadays she will say "hng hng" and bluff us into thinking that she wants to poo but in fact it's not.
- She keeps saying "mum-mum" when she sees food.
- She will say "ummm" when we feed her but this does not include her daily porridge. :p
- She understand the word "squat" in Cantonese. My mother will ask her to squat during bathing time to wash the lower body.
- She dances and "sings" (by shouting ahh-ahhh-ahhh) when a song plays.
- She claps her hands upon hearing "When you happy and you know, you clap your hands" and "Happy Birthday".
- She's addicted to the 20 cents kiddy rides. Haha, all thanks to my father.
- She can walk over my mother's kitchen kerb without holding onto the door frame.
- She will pull my mother or signal her to the playground when my mother brings her downstairs for a walk after lunch.
- She knows what is a car. But I don't think she can differentiate between the different types yet.
- She will walk to the kitchen when my mother says "milk-milk".
She is a clever gal I would say. She can understand things very fast but sometimes she's just lazy to show. She's still not into talking yet as her only vocab is plainly "ball" and "mum-mum" now. And some other baby jargons that I have no ideas what they mean. Haha. But sounds cute. Keke |

We were late for the class today. We reached at around 2.10pm which is 10 minutes late. But according to Melissa, we didn't missed much as they had just started a while ago only. Lucky. :p As usual, Kristy was more busy walking around the classroom than paying attention to the instructions given. :p But at least I had managed to massage her a while more longer than usual. Today, Ms Doreen introduced the parachute again. She placed the parachute on the floor, encouraging the kids to explore it by touching and feeling the material. Kristy was fascinated by the parachute and began to explore it. Ms Doreen asked the parents to slowly spread out the parachute while sitting in a circle. Soon some kids started to walk into the parachute. Being the curious cate, Kristy was one of them. We had to carry the kids out before we started to flap the parachute high above them, urging them to walk underneath the parachute. It was fun. Kristy was a bit hesitant to walk inside but she did. I was happy to see the smile on her face and her laughter when she ran out from beneath the parachute.
Later, we placed the parachute down and urged the kids once again onto the parachute. Only a few stepped in, including Kristy. Then Ms Doreen asked the parents to turn the parachute in an anti-clockwise direction. I could see many question marks above Kristy's head. Haha. She sat down while "enjoying" the merry-go-round. I felt it was a good decision to let her continue for the class. At least she can experience certain things that I couldn't provide her. And I hope that she enjoys all the classes. |

We went Henderson for breakfast on Saturday since Kristy woke up earlier than usual. There was a playground with all those "bouncing" kiddy rides. Kristy was elated to see the rides and walked towards them. One of the kids gave up the ride for Kristy. And of cos Kristy was happy to have a go at it. Here is the happy gal. :p |

Kristy had recovered from fever on Sunday after mother fed her some "ling yang" water. The fever was shooed away very fast after that. But till now she's still poo'ing more than twice a day. Mostly are soft stools. Maybe this time it's really teething stools? Mother also observed that whenever the spoon (when she fed her milk or water) touches Kristy's gums, she will scream like mad. Means the gums are painful, uncomfortable. *Teeth ah teeth, please come out quickly ok? So that your mistress, Kristy, will not have to suffer for so long.* Unless the teeth don't understand chinese.... "牙齿啊牙齿, 请快点出来吧. 不要再折磨你的女主人了" |

After her night feed last night, I carried her to our room to pat her to sleep. When I touched her, I realised she was very warm. Wanted to check her temperature but who knows, the thermometer just wanted to stop its battery life span at that moment. -_-" So just in case the fever worsened, I fed her the panadol syrup. At around 5.35am this morning, I heard some babbling from Kristy. I was thinking to myself, "Ah? Wake up so early??". I dragged myself out of the bed and gave her the pacifier. Normally she would drift back into dreamland after that. Then I smelled something funny, poo smell. I lifted up her legs and smelled. I did it for quite a few times to double, triple, n~ple check. She really pooed. The last time she pooed in the middle of the night was like ermm when she was 1mth plus. Changed her and also wash her butt. She was still feeling warm at that time. So I made her 180ml of milk so that I could feed her the panadol syrup again. Soon after, she drifted back into dreamland. So now I'm waiting for the PD to open, which is 9am. I wonder how high her fever is. And my mother and I were wondering what caused it. Could it be the terrible thunder yesterday afternoon which woke her up crying from her nap? Mother said Kristy would not allow mother to be out of her sight while sleeping. If not she would wake up and cry looking for her. Pray everything will be alright. Recently we kept asking Kristy this question. We: Where/Who is Kristy/炜霖? Kristy: *pats herself* We: Where is mummy? Kristy: *pokes mummy's nose* We: Where is gong gong? Kristy: *turns towards the direction where my father usually sits* Heh. So she's starting to recognise people and point at the person. :)

Mother bought Kristy a new pair of "beep beep" shoes from OG this afternoon. With the 20% sales going on, she paid $11+ for the little pair of shoes. Kristy liked the shoes very much till she just couldn't stop walking. :p She even stood on a spot and stamped her feet to create the "beep beep" sound. :p Click on Read More to view the pictures.
